When a person shows up for a drug test with a mushroom or any other mushroom-covered substance, they are not only being tested for a potentially serious substance use disorder, but they are also being tested for being a drug user. This is an entirely different story from the one that most people are taught about drug testing, and you should definitely not be one of them.
If you think that mushrooms are bad, wait until you’ve been a mushroom for a day. If you’ve been a mushroom for a day, you’re still going to be a mushroom. The only thing that matters is whether you have a positive or negative reaction to the mushroom (which in that case is your first indicator of a substance use disorder).
