There is no set threshold for criminal prosecution. It is a matter of a person’s life or death, and it is up to the person to decide. While it does depend on a person’s circumstances and life circumstances, it is not a case of “if you don’t pay the fine, you’re not going to jail.

It was just a rather simple possession of a substance which has proven to be harmless to most people. The issue is that many people assume that you can smoke some weed in your room, which in most cases is simply not the case.
You can smoke some weed in your room, and it’s perfectly legal, but it’s not the same as actually possessing the substance. And there is a big difference between smoking pot and using it in a room. If you smoke pot in your room, it can still be considered a drug.
