This means you may not have a goal, but its just what you are going to do with the goal that you already have. So you may not even be aware that your goal is that you become a member of a group.

I just don’t like the idea of being a failure. It’s all about trying new things, not taking it easy. There’s really no point in trying to do things that the others can’t.
Mises has a good point here. In a world where so many have so little self-awareness it really shouldn’t be so bad. Even though I’m not sure I fully agree with his argument, I think it’s a good one. If you can learn about yourself and your strengths and weaknesses, it can help you make better decisions. I would like to stress that it’s also a good idea to be aware of your own limitations.
I would just like to add the point that this is not meant to be a strict list of what makes a good decision. It is a list of what makes a bad decision.
The idea is that you should make better decisions if you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Like most people, you are probably not going to be able to do everything perfectly. But if you can pick out what you can and what you can’t do, it will be much easier to make better decisions.
